We're excited to share our latest research uncovering programmatic and research needs for 'never treated' individuals in mass drug administration for lymphatic filariasis.
This paper summarizes the results from a series of research review meetings on the subject of never treatment within the context of neglected tropical disease mass drug administration programs, specifically for lymphatic filariasis. This work has been coordinated through iCHORDS community of practice and has brought together researchers and program implementers from around the world to work together to identify and to address never treatment in NTD programs. This paper provides a summary of the initial consultations with recommendations for future programmatic and research directions.
