The Threads Lab is excited to welcome summer students 🎉
Joses Robinson, a first-year Master at the School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa, will be supporting the team for the project - Exploring patterns of non-participation across multiple health campaigns: an exploratory study using qualitative methods in Ghana and Indonesia. He will also be working on a systematic review that seeks to understand non-participation in multiple campaigns.
Sivim Sohail, a first year medical student, will doing her summer placement with the Threads Lab working on the FAARE Taskforce, specifically reviewing the pre-departure training for the Faculty of Medicine learners for short term global health assignments.
Tavishi Weeraratne, a candidate in the Master of Science in Global Health program at McMaster University, will be supporting the team at iCHORDS Community of Practice, specifically working on review of research methods and the mentorship program.
Jennifer Yee, a Master at the School of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Ottawa, will be working as a volunteer with the lab on the FAARE Taskforce at the Faculty of Medicine as well as contributing to upcoming research projects.
