New grant - Acceptability study preceding mass drug administration in Belitung, Indonesia

Our Lab has received a new subgrant to explore lymphatic filariasis elimination in Indonesia in partnership with colleagues at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Indonesia. The parent study is led by the Death to Onchocerciasis and Lymphatic Filariasis (DOLF) team at Washington University in St. Louis (USA).

The purpose of the Bruyère RI-led study is to assist the District Health Authority in assessing community acceptance to past and recent public health campaigns, understanding opportunities for social mobilization in preparation of the MDA in the Fall 2022 and exploring current knowledge and attitudes about LF.
